9:15 am - ADAM FORD - How can local governments start applying for or receiving Crowdstrike as part of the SLCGP funding? Any other updates or initiatives we should know about! We will review details on the state and federal mandatory cyber security training that all employees must complete as well as an update on what the state is offering or mandating of local agencies!
10:30 am - VEEAM - In this session we’ll share insights on the latest trends Veeam has seen with ransomware attacks. We’ll discuss how attackers get in, just how bad the problem is (hint: it’s worse than you think), and general strategies to protect yourself. In particular we’ll include details from recent studies taken from thousands of organizations globally who have suffered ransomware attacks.
11 am - CHECKPOINT - the latest trends on email security…what we are seeing and ways to combat next generation vulnerabilities.
12 noon - HEARTLAND BUSINESS SYSTEMS - Physical Security by Ben Funcke - Ben is a Senior design engineer with HBS’s Physical Security practice. Ben specializes in Video Surveillance, Electronic Door Access, Intercoms and Sensors and Alarms. Throughout his 15+ years in Physical Security he has designed, implemented, and supported a wide range of solutions for customers throughout the US in all markets.
