We meet to learn about new trends, discuss common problems and learn from each other. Our mission: GMIS Illinois provides a common forum for local government technology professionals to collaborate, educate, and innovate. |
To fulfill our purposes of idea exchange and networking, GMIS Illinois organizes meetings throughout the year. Our quarterly gatherings include speakers from industry leaders, valued consultants, and various government agencies. We examine new technologies and how to use them in all areas of the public sector. Ideas are shared through the presentation of case studies, demonstrations, open forums, and real-life experiences. Our GMIS Illinois Annual Networking + Training Symposium (GIANTS) is a multi-day conference filled with educational sessions, training opportunities, vendor demonstrations, exhibits, entertainment and networking opportunities. |
